Joseph E. Crump,OD

A graduate of the University of Tennessee and the Southern College of Optometry, Dr. Crump has practiced in Tennessee for two decades.

He decided to become an optometrist after a science project in elementary school during which he was deprived of each of his five senses for a short time each.

"The senses like smell, touch, and hearing I could do okay without. When it came to no sight, it was very unsettling. That was when I became committed to helping people preserve theirs."

Elisabeth is a nationally-certified optometric assistant (COA) and is working toward the highest level, or COT.

Joe is Dr. Crump's son and is the practice's full time Optician.  He graduated from Roane State Community College where he was president of his class and a member of Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society.
